Having immigrated from Cuernavaca, Morelos to Canada in 2002 Hugo Garcia came to the realization that there was nowhere to experience the culture and delicious food of his home. Hugo’s Mexican Kitchen all started with a dream to bring the authentic flavours of Mexican cuisine he had grown up with to the Fraser Valley. He began by opening a food truck which was parked outside of the Chilliwack Home Hardware from there he expanded into the Esso gas station. Now after years of dedication and hard work, Hugo’s Mexican Kitchen has 3 successful locations spanning across the Fraser Valley from Chilliwack to Richmond. We use all local and fresh ingredients, with everything being made from scratch, even our delicious corn tortillas! Our menu has an impressive array of vegan, vegetarian, gluten and dairy free options so there is something for every dietary need. Each restaurant has a unique feel and menu that will transport you to Mexico with every sip and bite.  ​
